If you've struggled with lifts that lack stability or sufficient lifting capacity, this 2-post car lift is the answer. With a robust design and reliable performance, it’s built to handle large vehicles with ease, making maintenance and repairs simpler and safer. 12K capacity is the sweet spot for most independent shops. It handles full-size trucks and SUVs with margin, without committing to commercial-fleet pricing or commercial-fleet maintenance schedules.
With a lifting capacity of 12,000 lbs (5,443 kg), this lift can handle a variety of vehicles, from compact cars to larger trucks. The maximum lifting height of 70.87 inches (1,800 mm) provides ample space for working underneath vehicles, while the minimum lifting height of 4.25 inches (110 mm) is perfect for low-sitting vehicles. The Single-Point Lock System ensures secure and efficient locking, enhancing the safety and ease of use. The 4HP 220V single-phase motor delivers consistent power across the full capacity range, faster than the 3HP motors most 12K lifts use. The 144-inch overall height fits standard commercial bays.
Whether you need it for a busy automotive repair shop or personal use in your garage, this two-post car lift is designed to last. It offers exceptional stability, heavy-duty construction, and peace of mind with every use. For shops handling daily full-size vehicle work where operator efficiency matters, the AM120SD pairs single-point release with above-class motor power for the kind of cycle speed that compounds across a full day.

Katool AM120SD Frequently Asked Questions
Will my truck fit on the AM120SD?Yes -- as a 12,000 lb 2 post lift it covers everything through 1-ton single-rear-wheel pickups, with symmetrical arms that balance the load evenly and a 110" drive-thru width. Max rise is 70.87" -- full standing room under most vehicles.
What are the advantages of the clear-floor design? The equalization and hydraulic lines route through the overhead beam, leaving nothing on the floor between the posts -- roll a transmission jack, drain, or creeper straight through. The posts stand 144" (12') tall, so plan on a 12.5-foot ceiling. Under lower ceilings, the H120D carries the same 12,000 lbs at 110.9" tall.
Which Katool 12,000 lb 2-post is right for me?Three ways to get 12,000 lbs: this AM120SD is the standard clear-floor with symmetric arms and single-point release; the KT-M120 is the extra-tall version for vans and 14-foot bays; and the H120D is the floor-plate model for 10-foot ceilings. Prefer doors-wide-open loading? The 11,000 lb AS110D has asymmetrical arms.
Does the AM120SD run on 110V power? No -- the 4 HP motor needs 220V single-phase on a dedicated circuit. If your garage only has 110V, our Katool 4 post lifts run on standard household power.
Do I need to bolt it to the floor?Yes -- every 2-post must be anchored, and the anchor bolts ship with the lift. Plan on a slab at least 5.9" (150 mm) thick at 3,000 PSI compressive strength, and verify your concrete before ordering.
Should I get a 2-post or a 4-post lift?Two-posts like this one are built for repair work -- wheels hang free for brakes, suspension, and tires. Four-posts win for storage and drive-on ease. Our 2-Post vs 4-Post guide walks through the decision in five minutes.
How does freight delivery work? The lift ships as freight at about 1,540 lbs. This lift ships by LTL freight to the curb or the end of your driveway. Call 406-604-0949 before you order if the delivery address has tight access. Most orders arrive within 1-2 weeks.
Is the Katool AM120SD worth it?A 12,000 lb clear-floor with single-point release at this price is the professional-bay setup without the professional-bay invoice. See the Reviews tab above for buyer feedback.

Delivery and installation
We confirm your order
When your order comes in we check stock with the manufacturer and confirm the shipping address is one a freight truck can actually reach. If anything looks tight (a narrow street, a steep drive, a gated community, a loading dock you don't have) we'll call you at this stage rather than after the truck is dispatched. Orders of $499 or more ship free.
It ships by freight
Equipment this size ships bolted to a pallet on an LTL (less-than-truckload) freight carrier. That is a different service from UPS or FedEx: the carrier calls you to schedule a delivery window, and someone needs to be there to meet the truck and sign for it. You'll get the carrier name and PRO tracking number by email once it leaves the warehouse.
What the driver does
The driver brings the pallet to the back of the truck and no further. Standard freight delivery is to the curb or the end of your driveway, not into your garage, and the driver will not carry, position, uncrate or assemble anything.
If you don't have a forklift, ask us about a liftgate before you order. A liftgate is a powered platform that lowers the pallet from truck height to the ground; that's all it does. It does not move the pallet to your bay and it has a weight limit that some of the heavier lifts exceed. Once the pallet is on the ground it is yours to move, which for equipment this heavy means a pallet jack on flat, solid ground, or two to four people and a plan.
Call us at 406-604-0949 and we'll tell you honestly whether your delivery needs a liftgate, and whether the model you're looking at is too heavy for one.
Inspect before you sign
This is the step that protects you, and it takes ten minutes. Before you sign the delivery receipt, walk the pallet: check the crate for punctures, crushed corners and shifted banding, and check the column and rail surfaces for gouges.
If anything is damaged, write it on the delivery receipt before you sign it ("carton crushed, column scratched," whatever you see) and photograph it while the truck is still there. A signed clean receipt tells the carrier the freight arrived in good order, and once you've signed one, a damage claim becomes very hard to win. Note the damage, sign, keep your copy, and call us the same day at 406-604-0949. We'll get the claim moving with the manufacturer.
Returns
Return terms are set by the manufacturer and differ by brand, so we don't quote a blanket window or fee we might not be able to honour. Equipment must be unused and in its original crate. Call 406-604-0949 before you order if the return terms matter to your decision; we'll get them in writing for that exact model.
Transit damage is not a return. It's a freight claim, and it's ours to handle, not yours. It depends entirely on noting the damage on the delivery receipt before you sign. See "Inspect before you sign" above.
Payment methods
Wire transfer
For larger orders we accept payment by bank wire. Call 406-604-0949 and we'll send the transfer details and confirm the order once funds arrive.
